Scope

This Cookie Policy applies to tinfoil.sh and related web surfaces such as the dashboard. We do not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies to access the content of your AI interactions: prompts, responses, and chat history are processed inside secure enclaves and, in the case of chat, end-to-end encrypted on your device.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies We Use

Essential

Required for the website to function. These include authentication cookies set by Clerk and technologies used to determine and remember your privacy preferences. Essential technologies cannot be disabled because the site will not work without them.

Privacy-Friendly Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly aggregate analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track individual users. See Plausible's data policy.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads, including conversion tracking, on web surfaces other than chat.tinfoil.sh to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and attribute signups and subscriptions originating from paid ads. We do not collect payment details through Google Ads. Google Ads may set cookies on your device to attribute conversions when you interact with our ads. Allowing these advertising tags may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CPRA) and similar U.S. state privacy laws. We do not sell your personal information for money.

How Consent Works

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region requiring prior consent, we will not load non-essential cookies and advertising tags until you accept them. Outside those regions, these tags load by default and you can reject them at any time using the controls below or in your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law.
